Directions from Seattle: Take I-90 eastbound to Highway 18. Take highway 18 west to 244th Ave. SE. Turn left (southbound) onto 244th. School is at the next intersection (SE 216th). Park at east end of parking lot, field is behind school.
Wow! Fantastic!! Outstanding!!! I could go on and on about the total remake of the football/lacrosse playing field at the old TJH. I was just there and I could only gaze in total wonderment. If only these improvements were made years ago -- wow, what a difference in the playing conditions for our kids. FYI -- in case you're not clued in to what's happening, King County is providing a grant to completely redo the old football field, and supporters of MV junior football and MV lacrosse are adding in-kind services, etc. to build a whole new playing field with vastly improved drainage facilities, The entire field and track have been torn out and new drainage piping and drywells have been strategically placed inside the field and around the perimeter. A new molded concrete retaining wall has been built encircling the entire field and massive amounts of good looking dirt has been trucked into the field and mostly spread around. You can see the crown and slope for surface drainage. It's absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!
